Help me accessorise wedding outfit

Disclaimer: not my own wedding ...

I am going to a wedding soon and can't afford/ don't want to buy a new outfit. I have a nice outfit I wore to my brother's wedding a couplof years ago. Need help to accessorise.

It's a knee-length, sleeveless dress, silk chiffon over a lining, v-neckline with modest ruffle, and matching silk chiffon bolero with three-quarter ruffled sleeves that ties in front. Hazy biggish purpley flowers and bluey-green leaves.

I'm a silver rather than a gold person.

Since I wouldn't buy the matching shoes and bag at the time, the world is my oyster. What colour shoes would be tolerable? Tan sandals? Any jewellery suggestions (has to be junk obv., can't stretch to Cartier!) Oh, please help!

Can you post a photo of it?

Er ahh - good call, I'll have to work out how to do it tomorrow though ... ooh I hope I hope.

picture of dress

OK, after much ado, hope this works - my first attempt at uploading a photo and have had to radically resize. The dress is somewhat longer than knee-length at present but is to be altered.

I have olive skin and chin-length dark hair. Mid-40s (how did that happen???), size 14, hourglass tending to fat. Good bits are lower arms and legs, neck, bosom, backside - bad bits are upper arms (hence the jackety thing), muscular thighs and a bit of a tum.

For shoes, I prefer a closed toe and a lowish, sturdyish heel - particularly as I have just found out, I am going to another wedding in the summer and it involves a walk along a beach to the hotel (not abroad!!)

Oh, but any ideas gratefully welcomed!

Sorry, that must be very trying!

I have just hurriedly set up a profile page - now try?

My choices will be a bit boring because i am dull but I thought these might suit the frock?necklace?

bracelet?

shoes?

Thanks Minnie, a good start to get me on my way. I particularly like the bracelets.

(I must admit, I have been slightly nervous that people would just reply to say uuuurgh! at the dress )

Any more takers?
