.....please could you try and access the topshop site and tell me if you can or not.

Since yesterday I get an error message like this whenever I try to get on it (even via google etc) and am trying to work out of it is my laptop that's broken or the topshop website.

Many thanks.

hi stealth

Thanks for helping me, when I click on your link I still get the same error message. GGrrrrrrrr

I think it must be a cookie thing on my laptop.

Don't suppose anyone on S&B knows how I can delete a cookie on a macbook do they ??

I don't have a Mac but I can get to it on Safari on my iPhone - does this link work for you?

eshermummy · 14/04/2010 17:49

thanks Rusty but no good either .

I think I must have a dud cookie stored somewhere on my laptop.

Very annoying as placed an order 2 days ago and since then it has gone kaput and I need to get back on to get a returns code .

Will post again on the geeky stuff topic and see if anyone knows how to clear cookies on macbooks.

have you tried emptying the cache? Go to the safari drop down menu on the top bar and click on Empty Cache (it gets rid of all the temp internet files and is worth clearing every once in a while)
HTH

StealthPolarBear · 14/04/2010 17:52

StealthPolarBear · 14/04/2010 17:52

seaside72 · 14/04/2010 17:52

eshermummy · 14/04/2010 17:58

Thanks Stealth and Seaside
Have to cook dc's tea now but will try and do what it says later on this evening.

Thank you so much for trying to help me. Will let you know if it works

Yes, it worked (although I had to delete all cookies in the end as despite deleting all the topshop ones I could find the problem was still persisting
fingers crossed it appears to be fixed
Just hoping nothing bad happens as a result of deleting all cookies.........

Thanks for your help
