order of eye make up

promted by hair/make up thread in chat i was reminded of an arguemtn i had with friend yesterday.

she is actually a beauty therapist but she is WRONG.

She does mascara and eyeliner first then eyeshadow then eyebrows.

i do eyebrows, eyeshadow, mascara, eyeliner.

whos right...?? and what order do you do yours in?

eyebrows (tweezing and sometimes make up)
eyeliner, then shadow (though if want strong look may go over eyeliner again after shadow)
mascara

eyebrows
mascara (lashings of)

OOH no, not mascara first, then all the powder or cream goes onto your lashes so you have to do them again!

I'm exactly the same order as you except I don't wear eyeliner.

well i don't do eyebrows but if i am headed for a night out i use primer on eyelids, then eyeshadow, then eyeliner, mascara is ALWAYS last

This morning I did:
brows (attemnpted to tweeze the annoying small hairs that are too small to grip)
eyeshadow
mascara
eyeliner

Don't know if I do it the same ever day or ont.

and if i remember, dust loose powder under eyes to stop eyeshadow showers

that goes on first of all, though obv after face base

I don't do anything to eyebrows other than occasional plucking of strays after shower/bath.
Most of the time I just wear mascara but if going for the whole shebang it is:
Shadow
Liner
Mascara

I do

tweezing and tidying of eyebrows
eyeshadow
eyeliner
1 coat of mascara
eyebrow pencil
face powder
2nd coat of mascara

every time. dont understand the eyeshadow over eyeliner thing? I always do eyeshadow first so the eyeliner is bolder?

I had my eyes done a couple of days ago in selfridges, the lovely lancome lady did concealer,
powder,
top liner,
light shadow,
dark shadow
bottom liner,
mascara

I looked great

surely eyeshadow should be done before eyeliner??
