Help! I haven't got a bottom!

I know, I know.....

I need trousers/jeans. I have trousers/jeans and they all literally hang on me. I am a size 10 (12 sometimes) long. My hips are 34 inches, my waist is about 30. (so maybe my issue is too much waist and not enough hip?) In short, I am not shaped like a woman.

I have trousers/jeans from M and S/Gap/Next/Principles/Planet etc and none of them are right around the backside.

Is anyone my shape and can recommend a range?
I walk around looking like I'm trying to be weither a gangsta rapper or a builder.

I am quite curvy size 10/12 and find trousers from Next a nightmare (in that they seem to be designed for women with no curves), and thought they might fit you better, but I see you've already tried there. In that case I'm all out of suggestions - sorry! Hopefully someone will be along along soon with some better advice.....

I have a small bottom too but have found Gap jeans ok, although even they don't fit quite as well as they could...
Will watch thread with interest although I suspect we may need to be looking at the ludicrously expensive jean brands for the ultimate fit.
Have you tried men's jeans? I found men's Levis often fitter quite nicely round my derriere as I don't have hips either so am pretty boyish from the waist down.

Thanks both- yes, I always revert to mens 501s for jeans!

I've been prompted after watching Connie Beauchamp's lovely bottom (which must be a size 2) and thinking why don't my trousers do that?

Maybe as you say, because hers are Armani or something!

YOu are welcome to help yourself to some of my bottom. I have plenty to spare

I'm lurking. My hips are actually a little bit smaller than my waist so I'm truly apple-shaped.

I have some great trousers from Wallis that I bought last season. I ended up buying 3 pairs as they were such a good fit. Dorothy Perkins are supposed to be good for apple-shapes but I've never found anything there that I like.

I am similar size to you but waist and hips a bit wider, think I am 31" waist and 36" hips and I find Seven for all mankind jeans the most flattering, they sit below my thick waist and seem to give me a bum, mine is quite flat.
They are £££, but if you want one really flattering pair of jeans then maybe worth a try?

I think you're right Bucharest - she is probably wearing Armani or 7 For All Mankind jeans, something of that ilk.
I must say I do long to have a spare hundred quid to spend solely on a pair of amazing jeans as I am sure they would make me look incredible..sadly spending that amount of money on a pair of jeans has never been top of my list of necessary requirements...although am now thinking that for my birthday I will do just that
