I suppose I'm getting a bit bored, as you do and also would like to look a little more stylish for interviews.

My hair is currently fairly long, just past bra catch. Its very wavy/curly and requires a lot of taming. Its getting quite dry and split at the ends so needs a trim at the very least.
I'm thinking about chopping it back to just below the shoulder, a bit like this and having a bit of a long fringe.

The only reason I am in a quandry is that I might regret losing all the length.

Yes or no?
I can make a picture visible on my profile if needed.

What age are you, roughly?

  1. And I have a good bit of grey which is another reason to lob it off.

I remember reading that past 40 best to have hair that doesn't go past your shoulders as it drags your face down. So you've got 5 years then!

It's a lovely haircut. Never heard of her.

Oh yes - go for it.

I was always long but my have my hair about that length (although straight) now. I'm 34. It just looked too straggly long and I'm much happier with it sitting just past my shoulders.

No I haven't heard of her either but I was trawling hairstyle sites and thought the style would suit the natural curl of my hair.

She's the daughter in the sopranos.

Go for it cain - I think it will be easier to manange and look more styled/groomed.

'Tis done!

Bit sooner than anticipated thanks to my wreckless spontaneous personality and this thread but it is lovely and swishy and fresh now.

However, the grey is really highlighted now so I am going to have to think about highlights/lowlights next.

DS has just exclaimed "Your hair looks nice!" I said "Thank you" He replied "It looks like you just got out of bed."
