Which hairdresser?

Am trying to decide on my hairdresser and even though it doesn't matter too much. A huge factor is that I have a fringe; both hairdressers offer free fringe trims and I go every 2-3 weeks.

Hairdresser no. 1

  • gives amazing haircuts that I LOVE
  • is in town which is not terribly convenient for me to get to so I often end up going to other hairdressers and paying for a fringe trim
  • have been going to regularly for the past 3 years

Hairdresser no. 2

  • only been to once
  • gave me a haircut that was just ok style wise (in my eyes) but as it has grown out I have started to like it, the technique was very good though
  • in a very convenient location for fringe trims, its easy for me to drop in as I pass it on a regular basis

Both offer great friendly service and the price is pretty good. Part of me wants to go with no.1 because I love their haircuts but I do find it a pain to get my fringe trimmed as I rarely go in to town, and making a special journey and paying for parking just for a trim really grates!

I have loved the ease of having my fringe trimmed at no.2 and I DO like the haircut now its grown out a bit so I wonder if I go back and am more prescriptive about what I want it might be better. But what if I am not so keen again, she shaped the layers around my face last time and I felt it didn't suit me at all and it bugged me until they grew out a bit.
ARGH! Unimportant I know...WDYT?

Go back to no 2, give them a chance.

If they stuff up, start going back to no1.

Hair grows. At most you'll have a few weeks with a crap haircut before it's grown enough for no 1 to do something with it.
