Have we done the new Stella Mccartney collection for Gapkids yet?

I can't see a thread so I'm starting this to moan. I thought the winter collection was disappointing but compared to the summer collection it's a show stopper. This is really, really dull. Too much crochet and >>yawn>> broderie anglais. Is it better in real life?

I think dd1 will like these but what is the point of this ?

I like this but wouldn't spend ££ on it.

Agree - pretty dull overall.

I suspect Stella had very little to do with it.

I like that too but it's nothing special - certainly not worth the premium price they put on it.

I don't like that jacket either - I guess it's supposed to be the signature piece but it looks like a picnic table cloth gone wrong.

I think the toddler stuff is really inappropriate. Not a fan. Especially not at that price.

I know VP - it's nearly all small versions of the older childrens stuff - except for horrors like this - words fail me!

There was a sweet stripey babygro I picked up for DS. It was 35 quid. I put it back.

no i am just not going there this time - still smarting from not getting a wee military jacket from the last collection....

agree it is mostly v bland, but did get this for DD, and she looks wonderful in it, all swishy and holiday-ish.

I do like that plum - it's just about the prettiest and most practical thing. Just a shame there isn't more like that.

I bought a few expensive, very thin summer tops for my dd. They are beautiful though and look lovely on.

This and a floaty light yellow blouse.

I think there is a serious mis-price on this top. It is $58.00 on the website, which is $6.00 more than the blouse I bought. However the blouse is £27.50 in the UK and the crochet top is £70!!!

$6.00 = £42.50 apparently!
