Quest for a mid heel I can run in

I am looking for some sandals with a slight heel to wear with trousers - rolled up jeans, city shorts, tailored hareems.

I am a size 6.5-7 with flat thin feet.

I want to wear them when we go out for dinner etc but need to be able to play with/run after my 23mo dd in them.

I quite like these and these but would prefer to spend a bit less.

TIA.

MM - what about these.

I ordered the navy and sent them back as the colour had stained the wood but saw these in RL and thought they looked nice.

Must say though that I am loving my ugg clogs and hasbeens.

MissWooWoo · 12/04/2010 11:51

how about these?

monkeysmama · 12/04/2010 12:01

I do quite like those Tracey. The problem
is I love love the Carvela ones but want to spend less. Am sure you saw them and said they looked a bit cheap?

OWW not keen on them really. Well, I like them but think they're a bit too smart for me.

Hasbeens may be the way forward. Still not
convinced.

It was different carvela ones I saw - the suede ones. The ones you've linked to look lovely.

Why not order them and see? Esher linked to some gorgeous ones on t'other thread but they were £££.

MissWooWoo · 12/04/2010 12:10

actually now i think about it you couldn't really wear them with rolled up jeans could you? gah ... think I will stick to helping dd build her train track !

EvilTwins · 12/04/2010 12:23

Have you tried all&showAll=1&rh=n:53580031&isBrowse=1 M&S? They've got some surprisingly nice ones this summer.

EvilTwins · 12/04/2010 12:24

Bugger. Link thing didn't work very well. Think it still links through though.

monkeysmama · 12/04/2010 22:19

Thanks ET - problem with M&S is they seem to cater well for women with wide feet but those with skinny feet like me seem to be forgotten.

Tracey ah, I was sure you thought these were the cheap looking ones months back which is why I haven't bought them so far. Now I am confused. Shall I buy the Carvela ones or not, and if I do, what colour?

MM - yoohoo - I like the Carvela ones you have linked to.
As Tracey said I bought some v similar ones from R&B a few weeks back but they were £££. I did see some similar styles in Aldi/Aldo - what is that show shop called? but fwiw I heart Carvela shoes - find them really comfortable. HTH.

Passay · 12/04/2010 22:26

i htinkt he carvela ones look hot

monkeysmama · 12/04/2010 22:50

Esher if you like them I am getting them . Just for the hell of it link to yours? I love your style

It was these. 195 of your UK pounds in R&B. Have to say that although i haven't worn them out yet they do seem supremely comfortable.

monkeysmama · 12/04/2010 23:08

Esher I love them. They look divine.

What colour would you go for in the Carvelas? Bearing in mind my palette is navy, black, grey, taupe, dash of red and some nude. I'm thinking the ones they describe as "grey". I won't wear them with dresses or on holiday, only in London with trousers and jeans so they can be 'harder' iyswim.

eshermummy · 12/04/2010 23:22

I like the grey colour best too.

Have you seen these? Too high for everyday?

monkeysmama · 13/04/2010 00:05

I like those Esher & never think to look in bertie anymore. I liked the slightly covered heel om the carvela ones
