lipstick colour for someone in transision from brunette to blonde fair skin and blue eyes?

fancy a new lippy. i usually only do gloss but have got it in my head that i want a lipstick. but i dont know what colour?
im in the process of going back to my natural blonde (is taking a wile though due to years of brown die) i have fair resonably good skin and blue eyes. can anyone advise me on a fail safe shade?
