For large feet that cannot handle heels. I have tendonitis in both feet but worse in my left foot. I can't wear confining shoes or anything with a heel. If I try I am crippled within an hour .

I bought this dress. I need some shoes and a shrug/bolero to go with it. I can handle the shrug but shoes? Please advise. I can't wear my DMs all summer! And I don't think birkies will work.

vile or not?

OrmRenewed · 12/04/2010 10:14

Not vile, but not right I don't think. Thanks though.

how could they be right(er)? colour, style etc. This is helping me avoid cleaning the bathroom

OrmRenewed · 12/04/2010 10:20

I'd prefer a darker shade and I don't care too much for the 'comfort' sole IYSWIM. I don't know whether I need to look at sandals of some sort or pretty flip flops or summat like that.

I'm sure I need you more than your bathroom does!

you haven't seen my bathroom! I'll keep looking.

ChocolateCakeWillMakeMeRich · 12/04/2010 10:37

too much heel?

OrmRenewed · 12/04/2010 10:39

I suspect so sadly.

I think it might be an impossible task

OP posts:
OrmRenewed · 12/04/2010 10:45

these?

OP posts:
ChocolateCakeWillMakeMeRich · 12/04/2010 10:45

no no

no task is impossible when it comes to shoes

how about these?

is it an everyday shoe you're after or specifically to go with the dress?

ChocolateCakeWillMakeMeRich · 12/04/2010 10:46

quite snazzy

ChocolateCakeWillMakeMeRich · 12/04/2010 10:47

oh, xpost!

My "no no" was to you saying impossible task.

I love those gold sandals. Have a much better idea now.

OrmRenewed · 12/04/2010 10:48

I think they would be too tight across the broadest part of my foot. Honestly I am only totally comfy atm with DMs, running shoes or bare feet.

I need both TBH but the dress is more important as it;s for a wedding.

I totally understand. I'm a red DM woman myself. Or battered converse. I like your gold ones a lot. You didn't need any help, woman!

OrmRenewed · 12/04/2010 10:51

OOh I did! I would be horrified at myself buying such 'FRIVOLOUS' footwear. I need encouragement.

ChocolateCakeWillMakeMeRich · 12/04/2010 10:55

buy them, they're fabulous and totally essential

tethersend · 12/04/2010 10:56

How about something like this or this?

I have the second ones and they are supremely comfortable.

Or these? or these?

Or maybe I am barking up the wrong tree?

tethersend · 12/04/2010 10:58

The second ones can be adjusted to the width of your foot- much like a DM

They also come in gold.

OrmRenewed · 12/04/2010 11:01

Not wrong tree at all. I like the Clarks ones.

Thanks.
