Yes I ordered some bits for my sister's birthday recently as couldn't get to the shops - they were good, unusual stuff (everyone asked me where I'd bought it at my sister's birthday meal!) and reasonalby quick delvery. Not cheap mind you

it's not cheap because a lot of the items are handmade one of a kind. it's a good way of supporting small businesses rather than mass production.

would you buy more expensive things off them? Like handbags?

I've bought little things for my nieces (jewellery boxes, sparkly things, etc) and they've been well received. Arrived within 2-3 days, iirc.

I've bought lots, both £ and ££££. No probs at all. Just always check returns policy etc as you would with any retailer

I got a fab photo album for a friend, can't fault the service - it is an umberella site for lots of independent retailers/craftsmen from what I can make out. Gorgeous stuff.

I have and would do again (and have done again!) Can usually find inspiration on there when completely stuck for gift ideas.

Ordered a bracelet and necklace from Hurley Burley on NOTHS and was v impressed with the service - and the jewellery! I'd used them again.

I ordered loads of christmas presents and thought they were great. Would def use the site again.
