Hairy eyebrows - what do I do about them

lavenderbongo · 11/04/2010 10:50

Just begun to notice that my eyebrow seems to be getting rather bushy - must be an age thing I guess.

I have never plucked them or done anything with them at all. How can I get that neat eyebrow look. I dont want to have just a painted on line look that I have seen but just want them neatened up a bit.

Is there somewhere i can go to get this done or do I have to attempt it on my own. And if people do there own eyebrows hiw on earth do they manage it. Plucking them out individually? Surely that is really painful!

Any help gratefully recieved.

go to a salon and get them shaped and waxed/plucked/threadad whatever floats your boat.

Do not attempt it yourself if you have never done it before

Definitely go somewhere, will cost anywhere between £8 - £15 depending on where you live (I'm in SE London)

DO NOT TRY TO DO IT YOURSELF!!!!!!!!

Get them threaded

ReshapeWhileDamp · 11/04/2010 15:59

Threaded, definitely. Quick and not too costly. Needs redoing every 4/5 weeks. I went to a threading concession in Debenhams, if no local salons do it where you live?

I paid £7 to have mine done last week... not threaded, plucked with a bit of waxing. 5 mins. Job done.

lavenderbongo · 12/04/2010 01:31

thanks everyone - what exactly does threaded mean - I am a complete novice at this

eyebrow threading

You won't look back after having this done - it gives the most amazing shape!

When you go to get plucked / threaded / waxed, get them to show you how to trim them too.
