I want to try something different, have got the boots protect and perfect day and night ones atm, but I don't think they are all that great really.

So just being nosey, what do you rate?

Thanks!

Personally I like the Olay ones, not particularly fussed on which exact one. At the moment I am using one of their more basic complete care range day creams. I have tried the (can't recall the name right now) but its the one in the red packaging that costs about £30. Its good but not really that much better than ones costing £8 to be worth the extra cash in my opinion.

I'm also using the Boots ones at the moment, got them for Christmas.

My favourite one of all time is Neal's Yard Frankinsense.

mum2seb · 08/04/2010 11:17

Liz Earle normal/ combination. It is literally the best moisturiser I've ever used!!

cyteen · 08/04/2010 11:20

Lush Enzymion. My skin is mostly oily with small patches of dry and this stuff works on all of it. Also it smells nice

JaMmRocks · 08/04/2010 12:19

How are you finding the boots one Bucharest? I don't think it's really man enough for my skin at the moment, it seems to be quite dry.

Thanks for all suggestions, I might have to do some testing

elemis procollagen marine cream
decleor
neals yard frankincense

purplepeony · 08/04/2010 12:34

Clinique either Super Defence or Youth Surge but I also like most of those by REN.

Bucharest · 08/04/2010 12:43

It's all right. Nice enough, but nothing special. I wouldn't buy it again unless I had one of those vouchers or something.

The elemis pro-collagen is gorgeousness itself (Shiney made me buy some last Christmas IIRC) but it's mortgage-prices unless it's on a super special on QVC.

BusyMummy78 · 08/04/2010 12:47

Liz Earle normal/combination - it's fab! If I fancy a change I go for the clarin multi active creams (day & night). I love the Liz Earle and I wear less make up because my skin looks good. It's worth trying and good price too (about £16 for 50ml).

JaMmRocks · 08/04/2010 12:54

Does this look like a good price, or not so much?

OP posts:
Bucharest · 08/04/2010 12:59

Fvck me that's a good price!

cornsilk · 08/04/2010 14:26

I got that kit JaMm - the eye creamin it is ace. I also bought this The cream will last me for aaaages - you only need a bit. I had told myself that it was out of my price range but I looked in the mirror one day and caved in.

Bucharest · 08/04/2010 15:15

(and it smells divine)

Downdog · 08/04/2010 16:22

I am 42 but still have quite spotty/oily t-zone, now surrounded with ageing wrinkly bits. YAY!

best by far I have found is LIVING NATURE Balancing Day Lotion - light, but moisturises really well & is by far the best I have every found for my skin - magic. At £32 I consider it to be quite expensive (if I buy in UK) but it will last me at least 6 months.

In deep of winter, I reach for something a little richer for a couple of months - whatever is on special!

JaMmRocks · 08/04/2010 16:38

hmmm, I'm really leaning towards buying the elemis stuff... I wonder what DP will say when I tell him 'the voices on the internet told me to'

hf128219 · 08/04/2010 20:10

Elemis Marine Cream is great.

What about Creme de la Mer?

JaMmRocks · 08/04/2010 21:43

Creme de la mer would be lovely, had I the funds to purchase...

avon reversalist range - buy it when it's on offer

MimsyStarr · 08/04/2010 21:54

Usually Olay but just bought the new Eucerin Hyaluron Filler range from boots and seems good so far. Only had it for 2 weeks but I like what it is doing round the eye area.

lotster · 08/04/2010 22:06

I use 24 Hour Moisturising Complex by Espa. It's very natural, high in anti-oxidants, without any greasy feel and definitely clears the skin too.

It's not cheap but I hardly buy anything, am very scrimpy on clothes, but never moisturiser!
