Due to your recommendations on here I tried it today and bought it straight away, I love it. Bobbi Brown always worked for me (I have really dry skin) but since they put the spf in it I find it really claggy and pale. This is like a dream! oh, I bought the moisturiser for dry skin and it feels like velvet. Expensive but not as expensive as Elemis. Im really pleased, never used Chanel before.

It's my fave!

I'm on my 3rd bottle which is a record for foundation.

If you put a bit of mac strobe cream underneath it does something a bit magical.

SuSylvester · 07/04/2010 18:48

yay!

FreakoidOrganisoid · 07/04/2010 18:53

I love it too. Didn't realise how good it was til I used my old foundation for a day though

BariatricObama · 07/04/2010 18:57

yes it is the maclaren pushchair of foundations we all succumb in the end

SuSylvester · 07/04/2010 18:58

nad I FOUND IT FIRST nnot you bastartds

TulipsInTheRain · 07/04/2010 18:59

I adore it, really really adore it.

Unfortunately it irritates my skin and i have a rash of spots the next day though

i'm refusing to give up on it though, what it does for my skin when it's on is worth having to hide under a rock the next day

kittya · 07/04/2010 19:04

shes given me some samples of the primar to go under it. I shouldve gone for it ages ago!! are there all different types or is it one for all? i got the shade number 20, clair for my pasty looking skin. I cant stop looking at myself!! and she was very generous with her samples.

Thank you all for going on about it so much!!

I found it first. Su copied me.

SugarTits · 07/04/2010 19:07

Have been thinking of asking for a sample due to the mention it gets on here so much. Is it mega expensive?

GinSlinger · 07/04/2010 19:08

I bought some last week based on SuSylvester's recommendation and I love it absolutely

BelleDeChocolateFluffyBunny · 07/04/2010 19:08

£37 IIRC, it lasts for ages though, a little goes a very long way as it just glides.

SuSylvester · 07/04/2010 19:09

SugarTits · 07/04/2010 19:13

so what about pores? mine are like huge crevices and some foundations make it look worse.

SuSylvester · 07/04/2010 19:14

yes this might not be the best for that
its wuite shiny

foureleven · 07/04/2010 19:15

Tulipsintherain, if it irratates your skin try prolumiere instead. Its kind of the same but more for 'normal' skin. vitalumiere is for 'normal to dry' skin and so if your a bit sensitive or oily it will make you spotty.

Mattelumiere on the other hand if for 'normal to oily' so if your naturally spotty or oiler try that

LOVE Chanel.

foureleven · 07/04/2010 19:16

SugarTits, try clinique pore minimizer underneath applied with a foundation brush.

kittya · 07/04/2010 19:35

It was 30.50 from Fenwicks, I expect its the same price where ever you get it from. Has anyone tried the Hydramax and Active moisturiser? I bought that as well. The girl had immaculate skin and thats what she uses (so she said!!)

Once again a big thank you!! my life might never be the same...

TulipsInTheRain · 07/04/2010 19:36

that's the weird thing, i have very dry sensitive skin so spots are unusual!

although, my mother bought it and thinking about it now i'm not sure which of the two i have

nope, have googled... it's definitely vitalumiere.

Have way to much in the bottle to justify buying a new one, especially if it might not be any better for my skin!
