I'm fed up all my jeans keep slipping down, even when i wear a belt and if i try a smaller size i can't do them up....does anyone else get this, i'm forever pulling them up when out and can't wait to take them off when i get home, i don't find jeans comfy. Am i buying the wrong brand? i have ones from next, new look and river island.

Yeah mine do that and I'm not even thin! My theory is that all jeans today are either low waisted or very low waisted, so they sit under my slight belly and I feel like I want to keep pulling them up.

Have you tried the higher waisted ones? I've got a pair that I bought from Next last year and they tend to stay put. All my others need hoiking up all day as they all seem to be lower cut 'hipster' types.

I don't wear the high cut ones too often as they catch on my belly bar thingy, but they're comfy otherwise.

me too. they fall off my bum.
why is this...???
not the most helpful post, sorry, but interested to see if anyone has an answer

I have always had this problem BUT last week I bought a pair of Gap Curvy and at last I have some jeans which actually fit me properly

I can get away with a 12 rather than my usual 14, and they are relatively high waisted, tho' not excessively so. They fit properly round my bum and waist, and I don't really need a belt.

Definitely worth a try if you haven't already.

Yep me too, recently discovered Topshop Baxter skinny jeans and they stay up perfectly.

I think waistbands are made bigger than the rest of the jeans cause this happens to everyone i know! Quite often they fit on hips and even on stomach but they gape at the back!?!

I now buy jeans that fit the best (GAP for quality, style and price) then take them to be altered. £7.50 per pair and you can't even see where they fix them-they do the cutting and stitching under the belt loops! It's the best money I spend. No question.

I had this, thought i was getting skinnier but to my shame i was in fact getting fatter and it was going under my belly as Geeky Girl describes.

I bought GAP curvy ones (on sale last week) and they were much better. They were really recommended on here as are some M and S £12 ones, that I am yet to try.
