Flattering jogging bottoms?

Can anyone recommend where I could get nice gym trousers please? Am a size 14 hourglass, with the inevitable I've-had-twins-by-c-section spare tyre/overhang. I find that the sort with wide waistbands that are readily available in Next, M&S etc really don't suit me.

Help! Am fed up with going to the gym looking minging.

this
I too found it all a bit too much to try and find anything nice! But got a couple of pairs from here - not as expensive as some that are really nice but cotton rather than full on lycra.

Ooh and a sale is on so not to expensive at all!

on Ellie Gray, as find sweaty betty what I want but what I can't afford! Might be something there for you

Yoga trousers extremely forgiving, I buy mine from TK Maxx, I can look up the brand for you but I've got 3 pairs, they're fab. Sweaty betty seem to have some good ones too although I haven't bought any yet (easier to buy stuff online for you at the moment?)

I have the wide legged yoga trousers from sweaty bettey - very flattering (but pricy).

I also have gym stuff from M&S which is tighter but high enough to cover any flab. Sometimes it's more flattering to wear tighter clothes ime.

Thank you! I'll have a look for the yoga trousers online.

Doodle - couldn't get your links to work. Not sure if it's my PC though - DH may have been playing around with settings...

Sweaty Betty gym clothes are by far the most flattering and last really well. Oh, and they offer a 10% discount to mumsnetters!

Nike make the harem sweat pant! Covers a multitude of tummy and thigh sins then goes all tight and sexy under the knee.

.........actually sounds vile, but looks pretty good.

Doodleydoo · 05/04/2010 22:18

www.elligray.com i think. try that, have to admit bought from here as quick delivery and wanted to have something reasonably priced so I could then buy the sweaty betty ones when think - but got pg so that didn't happen!

EvilTwins · 05/04/2010 22:19

Thanks Doodleydoo - have ordered some of the roll-top ones. I have one pair in that style from a local sport shop, and they're definitely the most flattering.
