I have been avidly following S and B threads for ages now and always love clicking on the links and spending virtual cash!!!

Anyway, I now need some style advice and suggestions from the stylish ladies. out how I look - actually think I have a bit of body dysmorphia(sp) so can never really be sure whether what I am looking at in the mirror is actually what other people see and am always hyper critical of myself.

I have an evening wedding reception to go to with DH for a work colleague of his at the end of April and not a clue what to wear. I am 38, 5'1, size 8 ish on a good day but problem area is tummy and chunky thighs... Had my colours done and am an Autumn (the sludge palette as dh calls it!).

I would like to be brave look and feel really good and wear something a bit wow without overdressing... so not sure whether to go subtle LBD or maxi or something else... Aaaagh.... All suggestions gratefully clicked upon!

mrspink, I actually clicked on this thread last night but was then too tired to look further.Sorry- am refreshed now . Is it a dress you want or would you consider trouser/top combo?

mrspink27 · 05/04/2010 10:45

I think a dress... but happy to click and be open minded about trousers!

Prosecco · 05/04/2010 10:53

is this more an autumn colour?

Prosecco · 05/04/2010 10:55

Prosecco · 05/04/2010 10:58

mrspink27 · 05/04/2010 11:00

That was to the red frilly one... probably not lilac as it washes me out. Like the John Rocha one.. in the peach ( more my colour ) That is on the list to try!
