shoes, help!

I can't wear ballet pumps or flat shoes because I have a heel problem, my feet are too hot in boots, and I don't like trainers that look like trainers!!
What do people wear with jeans at this time of year? I can only see Clarks sensible shoes but please has anyone got any alternatives?

I tend to wear converse as they are not too trainer ish. Then I wear flip flops when it hots up.

Dare I ask... would you do clogs?

clogs are possible, had not really thought of them. Converse are too flat, but I notice they do a wedge which may hurt my heel less, off to have a look!
