yes i am hormonal BUT i look particularly poop today.

i look pale and spotty and shiny.

what can i do to make myself feel better? i don't want to slap on the make up as i don't normally wear much and i think it'll make my spots worse.

Have you got a face mask you could put on for 20 mins?
Failing that a good exfoliate with a flannel and hot water, moisturise et voila.

Face mask definitely. Or as above, a good exfoliate with hot water, then splash your face with freezing cold water to close up your pores again.

Get some mineral foundation, it's fucking great. Lets skin breathe, so doesn't make spots worse.

have a good cleanse and exfoilate, moisturise and then try to go makeup free for a couple of days, just apply under eye concealer if you have dark cirlces like me. Helps if you don't need to leave house.

You'll have to wait a few days for the results, but this is what has been working for me. I spent Jan and Feb feeling tired, stressed and looking washed out and spotty.

So, I have porridge for breaskfast every day, then take a Vivioptal active vitamin, Co Q10 supplement (great for giving you more energy) and Solgar Rhodiola which is just amazing for balancing hormones (I had raging PMS before I started on this and it has GONE)

I felt a real difference in 5 days

This is very bad advice, so I'll just say it quietly and then run away.....

6 mins on the sunbed. Tightens skin up, dries out spots, gives you a tinge of colour, and is relaxing - no effort required.

Works for me. It's my only vice, and I don't talk about it much.

Fake tan.

verity - I think a long term solution is a good idea. It's probably due to not sleeping- even less than usual, too much cake etc and not enough of the good stuff.

Still not sure what to do for now except for grin and bearing it.
