Great Plains sizing

Ok, Great Plains say their size L is equivalent to a size 14. Can anyone confirm this? Am looking at dresses if it makes a difference, am usually a 14, very occasionally a 16, depends on the shop.

Yes, I think it is (L=14) - at least the stuff I've bought.

I find they run true to size, so if they say an L is a 14 then that's what is is

Yes, true, but I think their L dresses are quite generous.
