Not really S&B - Anywhere selling striped school dresses please?

Does anyone know if any normal shops are selling blue striped school dresses this year? They used to be quite commonplace but now it seems to be all checks. I'm not sure DDs school would actually care but DD would!

They've got them online at M&S and (unlike last year) it doesn't say internet only, but there were none in our local store last weekend. The one customer review said the fit was bad, so I'm hoping there might be some alternative.

Debenhams had some last year that were identical to dd's school vastly overpriced official dress.

Thanks - I'll bear that in mind if the M&S don't fit - decided I'd better order online in two sizes and return one lot.

Thanks goodness this is the last year of it, skirts and shirts at secondary should be easier!

DD's school dress (compulsayr one) is striped, althought it is red. We have to get it from John Lewis and it is part of the standard stock I believe.

John Lewis only seems to have checks online... do they have striped instore? We are miles from a JL.

They do at ours. We alsways got instore to get them, or if none in stock ask them to phone and order them.

For the style of the dress, I think there may be a picture of DD on my profile wearing it; if not I will go and add one now.

My dd's compulsory dress is almost identical as far as I could see previously to Hulas dd but we are allowed to get them anywhere in any striped style this year as they are changing the uniform in September.

Some Asda's have done them in the past.

I loojed at the M & S ones and always thought they looked nice, in fact I remember my cousins daughter wearing a blue one now I come to think of it and thought it looked nice, much less shapeless than my dd's.

yes if you go to schoolwear scotland website they have all sizes of blue striped summer dresses i got a an 11/12 pack for my daughter .
