Suede jacket that smells very suedey

any ideas on how to stop a suede (spelling?) smelling like it does?

Sorry - couldn't resist the stock answer to any 'smell bad' questions...

Could you take it to a dry cleaners and see what they can do?

Start by hanging it outside in the fresh air for a few days - obviously where it won't get splashed/get bright sun on it. COuld even hang in garage or shed to let the smell off .

I'm not sure why but i assumed it was an old one - strange.

I assumed "new"!

not PG and it is about 3years old. have tried leaving it outside with no change. will try dry cleaners. thank you!
