Does it still smell nice when it dries though Su? I had one (forget which) which smelt lovely in the bottle and when it went on but smelt like piss as it dried. Much to DP's disgust as I used to put it on before bed

SuSylvester · 28/03/2010 18:39

hmm

Am allergic to it,brings me out in scaly lumps[sadBut love St Tropez airbrush in a can stuff.also the everday one.
Jus tthe original I have trouble with

brimfull · 28/03/2010 20:22

I bought a tin of this last yr and haven't used it yet.
AM going to try it now you've reminded me.

FalafelAtYourFeet · 28/03/2010 21:14

That has reminded me, I need to buy a (non pissy) supply. My favourite is Ambre Solaire No Straeks Bronzer. And if you apply it after your shower at the gym, you don't get it all over your bathroom!

mummee09v · 29/03/2010 15:51

st moritz is the BEST fake tan ever.

and it is only about a fiver.

its as good as st tropez. doesnt smell. and dries super quick with no stickiness.

DarrellRivers · 29/03/2010 15:59

Oh the smell used to put me off
this is exciting news
i don't need to be pale and interesting this summer
and useful re the st moritz, i saw that in savers and wondered if it was any good

Amandoh · 29/03/2010 16:03

Agree with you completely FalafelAtYourFeet that Ambre Solaire is the best. It hardly smells at all, dries in super quickly and is foolproof.

Best not to use it whilst standing on a white bedroom carpet though.

mummee09v · 29/03/2010 16:52

seriously, st moritz is amazing. you will never go back!! and unbelievably cheap as well.

FalafelAtYourFeet · 29/03/2010 21:12

Amandoh- that's why I started to apply it at the gym

Granard · 29/03/2010 22:22

Has anyone tried Xen Tan?

granard - xen tan is overrated IMO.

its really light and doesn't last long. however, it DOES smell nice! which as we all know is unusual for fake tans

brimfull · 30/03/2010 16:51

mummee -wher can you buy st.moritz?

redwhiteandblue · 30/03/2010 17:02

at St Moritz

I saw it in Savers and laughed at its rip-off St Tropez name. Now I will give it a chance (unless this is an early april fool)

FalafelAtYourFeet · 30/03/2010 17:19

ooh- I might try St Moritz in the interests of experimentation- where does one find it?

SuSylvester · 30/03/2010 17:22

lol at saint moritz

t here is a potential thread there

redwhiteandblue · 30/03/2010 17:43

Savers is where it lies, falafel

Your high street may not be downmarket enough to boast one

FalafelAtYourFeet · 30/03/2010 17:44

oops, started a new thread about it!
Post on there for sake of folks who might be confused.

mummee09v · 30/03/2010 21:29

u can get it from savers or home bargains! x
