Trousers for skinny pre-teen boys

After a futile trip to Bluewater during which we did at least persuade ds to try trousers on, we still haven't found a pair to fit. Trusty favourites such as Gap and H and M now prove far too big on the waist for his skinny, almost 5' frame. Any suggestions as to where else to try, preferably not ££ as he is growing like a weed so they won't last long !

C&A have a slim range, available in Germany and France, if that's any use to you!

I have noticed, that Aldi trousers tend to be very slim - you have to watch them for when they come in, they usually sell out on the first day here, as they are v cheap and v good value for money.
