What shoes to wear?

Bought something similar to this yesterday, but cream with a little floral print on it. Wear with brown waist belt a grey woollen tights. Have no shoes though. Have dumped the boots in the winter wardrobe, and will not be going back, as it is now officially spring! I was thinking some sort of wedge?

  • well I'm here but probably of zero use to you! I don't do wedges - I would have chosen something like these, even though you said no boots - or perhaps something like these instead.

but I am an antifashionista so have no clue

Wordsonascreen · 27/03/2010 13:42

Um

I'd wear with Mary Janes (probably patent)

But I am officially weird.

BattyKoda · 27/03/2010 13:46

Actually love the boots thumbwitch, but must refrain!! And shoes...lovely but a bit too formal.

Mary Janes, probably too formal too? Not very good with heels... thats why I mentioned wedges, braking myslef in slowly!

Thank you for acknowledging me

No No

Thank you for acknowledging ME.

I agree about the MJ's but was at a lost and wildly grabbed at the first show I could think of

BattyKoda · 27/03/2010 14:00

Sorry, my OP should probably read 'Which shoes to wear'

what about this sort of thing then?

I was looking for some lace-up shoes but can't seem to find any like I was looking for - like the granny boots but without the ankle bit, iyswim.

BattyKoda · 27/03/2010 14:04

Still too formal I think... I was thinking something like a plain court shoe but with a wooden wedge heel IYSWIM....can't find anything like that though.

ok, last chance - try this site to see if there is anything like what you're after on it - I can't find any plain courts with wooden wedges but no doubt there are some out there somewhere!

Gotta give up and go to bed soon (night time here)

gladiators

How about these? Also in green

Or, if you must, wedges
