You obv have different ideas as to 'very cheap' than I do.

deaddei · 27/03/2010 12:34

I can't wear belted coats as I look like a sack of potatoes.

wifyhome · 27/03/2010 13:08

did you say very cheap?

nowherewoman · 27/03/2010 13:12

£75 is very expensive, not very cheap.

Eve4Walle · 27/03/2010 13:17

I love the way they've tied the belt in that picture - so fashion-mag try hard. In reality, tied normally, that would make me look like a 70 year old farmers-wife.

I don't have the class to pull that type of coat off!

CwtchyMama · 27/03/2010 13:23

I equated it down to be being cheap as i know i will have loads of wear out of this,so the cost per wear will be pennies iyswim.

Looks like its just me who thinks its a nice jacket then

Am sorry OP but I larfed and larfed when I saw that coat as it looks (imho) like a coat that an 'Aunty Doris' would wear!

Having said that, the picture with the youngish model in the coat....she looks ok in it.

I would look hideous and it is expensive!

wifyhome · 27/03/2010 17:59

i must use that cost per wear technique on my husband

janeite · 27/03/2010 18:01

Cheap? Sorry it's hideous - expensively hideous.

brimfull · 27/03/2010 20:31

I like it
I have a penchant for the quilted look which dh has been successfully putting a damper on for yrs and yrs-he hate them despte showing complete lack of interest in any other clothing of mine

saying that my waist is not good enough to look as good as the model

I don't think it's too ££ for an everyday jacket

noce one OP

cyb · 27/03/2010 20:33

you would have to wear it with the right thing otherwise it could smack of Babs Woodhouse
