How can I get rid of fake tan smell?

I bought one once that seemed to smell fine on application then developed a curry smell and wasn't a great colour either.

I was patchy and orange, and smelled like chicken korma which was not the look I was going for.

I,ve only put it on my arms and it's dead strong. Hopefully by tomorrow night, when i'm going out, it won't be so bad. It's stinky but a really good Ambre Solaire one

It might be fine then, I bought the one in question from some cheapo shop which was obviously a mistake.
Since then, I've stayed pale and only encountered curry smell when I've called the takeaway!
