I have mid length, straight, mid-brown thin flyaway tired hair. It used to be highlighted but they are growing out now. A lot fell out a after I had my DS 15m ago. It is growing back. I have a very short fringe now coming through.

My hair is in a longish bob, but the re-growth looks awful. I need to cut it, but into what?

What products should I use? I need to thicken it up. I wash it everyday and it looks like a big ball of fluff in the morning. I still get my milk "coming in" in the wee small hours so I get really hot a sticky in bed.

I need a make over. Help me!

I have fairly fine, brownish, flyaway hair too. I colour it with henna blocks from Lush which makes it a more interesting colour and slighly thicker.

I've also just started using Treseme volume shampoo which seems to be working.

Do you want to keep it long? Maybe a short, choppy look would give it more texture.

try sea kelp supplements. my hair shedded loads after both my kids and i found they really worked.

also, i wouldnt wash it every day, i find my hair is much nicer if i only wash it every 2 days.

sea kelp tablets are brilliant. im taking them at the minute to boost my hair growth my little boy was one yesterday and my hair is just starting to grow back.

if you have fine hair and not much of it a short chopp cut will make it look worse. long bobs are perfect, maybe ask you hairdresser to do some under cutting at the crown to give your roots a boost it will give you natural height!

DOnt what ever you do use anything henna base they are packed full of metallic salts and if you have a colour on your destined to have a colour crisis!

apparently omega 3 capsules are good for hair too xx

Thanks everyone, I will go and get some sea kelp tablets tomorrow, and thanks for the henna tip. I feel like any more colour would be a mistake. I need a really good cut that I am happy with and keep getting it cut regularly. I wish I could leave it a day to wash, but it just looks horrendous. It is so wispy that I cannot even tie it back without looking a bit bald at the front. Sigh!
