Thank you to whoever it was extolling the many virtues of Marks' £12 jeans - bought a pair today and they fit like a second skin, no muffin top or anything

I tried them but am afraid they are too 'tight' for my chunky thighs, though v. v. comfy.

IndigoSky · 25/03/2010 16:08

I am wearing mine right now! They are great, aren't they? And they make my legs look long!

BariatricObama · 25/03/2010 16:09

my friend has a pair, i admired them and she was all shamefaced admitting they were m&s!

Bumnoise · 25/03/2010 16:10

YY to long legs, just wish they had a bit of detailing, shading whatever on them but then I suppose the slimming effect wouldn't be there? Nice to get a proper dark indigo pair of jeans, hope they don't lighten too much in the wash.

I got some, but they got progressively larger in the waist (no it wasn't be me losing weight).

Saltire · 25/03/2010 16:12

I've had the dark indigo ones for a while now and they are still dark.
I have 5 pairs, - they fit well on the waist, don't have that dropped waist sitting on hips thing that lots of jeans have. Also do long leg

Bumnoise · 25/03/2010 16:15

Sugartits, hopefully mine will get larger in waist for exactly that reason, hence only wanting to get cheap jeans
Glad to hear they don't fade too

i eyed them up too but they were too high in the waist for me....nearly up at my chin LOL.. okay slight exaggeration!!

animula · 26/03/2010 22:37

It was cocolepew, wasn't it?

And she was right. they are good.

EsmeWeatherwax · 26/03/2010 22:40

I got a couple of pairs of these after seeing them recommended on here a few weeks ago, and have to agree, they're fab! Will be getting a few more pairs asap!

LOL @ Ruby

I'm past caring now I'm knocking on 40 and need to stop thinking I'm 21.

I'll give anything a go that'll stop me asre hanging out and hold me tyre in.

Meglet · 27/03/2010 14:22

I had an M&S voucher for Xmas and decided to be daring and try their jeans. They are great, I think I have the dark indigo slim fit ones. Better quality and fit than the Pirmark ones I usually buy, but not too £££.

They were the first thing I have bought in there in 20 years. And I promise I really am not frumpy, I wear weggings and have the dizzee rascal cd too .

FabIsGettingThere · 27/03/2010 14:22

enjoy them while it lasts..

but they look gasthly

atworknotworking · 27/03/2010 14:28

I do hate M&S it looks so frumpy in our local one, might order online or send DH to uphold anonimity. Whats the sizing like, I'm a 10 in some stuff, 12 in others but mostly 12 now especially a couple of weeks out of the month. My waist seems to be getting higher, I reckon I'll be a rectangle shortly.

atworknotworking · 27/03/2010 14:31

wifyhome admit they arnt the chicest item of chothing I've ever seen, maybe a tunic would cover some of them up.

Do they look nicer in rl?

wifyhome · 27/03/2010 14:51

but why wear something that needs to be covered up ?
