It's my birthday on Sunday, we are going shopping, what to get for my first 29th birthday (I'm planning the second next year)

I've posted this in chat but got no replies so might be more appropriate here:

It's my 29th birthday on Sunday, couldn't think of anything I wanted so DH and I are going shopping, what should I get?

I'm 14 weeks pregnant, so some maternity gear is high on the agenda, as is a nice big bag that I can shove nappies into.

Maybe some nice make up? My Benefit Dandelion blusher is running out, I love it but is there anything better?

I was also thinking about some posh shampoo. My poor hair is suffering from a misguided attempt to bleach it last year and needs some TLC.

Anything else essential to a second time mother to be kissing thirty?!

Budget isn't massively high, so no Mulberry bags (unless you're offering ).

If you're thinking about a handbag there are some lovely - and very on-trend - cross body bags around at the moment. Fashionable and practical for when the baby arrives.

look here for inspiration

house of fraser ones

Thanks squeaver, I tend to only wear cross body bags anyway, so they are right up my street, unfortunately not in my budget . More like £50 tops.

what about some nice costume jewellery that you can use to jazz up maternity clothes and can still wear afterwards?
