Do you like to buy clothes online or do you prefer to try on first?

I struggle with clothes to fit (am 5ft & dumpy!)and I prefer to try on in the shops or take them home to try then return them.

Now I'm pregnant and starting to fill out I'm finding it very hard to find shops selling maternity clothes. So far I have found New look which is about 20mins away and H&M which is about 2 1/2 hours away (in opposite directions!) So it looks like I'm going to have to resort to online but I have no idea where to start with all the varying sizes.

i buy everything online, have 3 children so never have time to go clothes shopping. Usually disappointed if i do go into town because they only have a small range and always sell out of the 14/16 fast. Most places offer free returns, i usually place a big order and search for a money off code, usually quite a few items go back. As for maternity clothes my baby is now 6 weeks, i bought a few maternity bits from next and everything else was non maternity, did the leggings, jumper dresses/tunics which i am now sick off.

next have maternity stuff, the order comes really quickly and a courier can pick up returns

I don't have the legs for leggings! Not without boots and I have now been looking for 2 years for boots Anyway I can't wear boots all summer it might be warm

Order it online, easier to browse multiple shops. I tend to get a few different sizes or colours to take it over the 'spend £X for free delivery' so then it's nothing lost if I don't like it.

i buy tons online, usually look at the sizing guide and sometimes ask on here if they come up small or big etc.

Oh, online every time... and I learned Trills trick of ordering an extra size if I am not sure it will fit...
