Pleeease help, shoe crisis!

Hen night in a couple of weeks, got most of my outfit sorted, but I need help with shoes!

A couple of ladies have decided to wear 'formal flats' or mid heels, to save their little feet from aching so much that it ruins their night. This is a great idea for me, because me and heels, well, it's like asking a bloke to walk in them unless they're 3 inches or less! Quite a few times I have gone out, and come midnight, have been dying to go home and soak my feet in a bucket of ice. I don't want a good night ruined yet again, so I think flats are the way to go!

I have this skirt(, and was planning on teaming it up with a black just above elbow length sleeved bodysuit and some 3/4 length black tights to hide my ghastly legs, and nude bead accessories. All looks very pretty on. But I'm struggling to find a flat or flat-ish shoe to complete the look. They all look too casual!

So I'm recruiting any shoe savvy people to help me Very much appreciated!

Custardo You reckon?! Example please

I'm quite quirky in my style anyway so I'm told, so I could probably pull it off with some effort as long as I believed in the look!

Biker boots -

these i'm looking at for me

love these but too much for me at the mo

i own a pair very much like these- i wear them underneath suit trousers and with thick tights with dresses ffor work. they are so comfy, i can heardly bear to part with them, but they smell and are falling apart and summer is nearly here. anyway i love them, my feet are comfy all the time.

here i love the striped tights.

God the striped ones look like something a trapeze artist would wear.

Have you got long legs - if not do not elongate your body by wearing the skirt lower as it will just make your legs looks shorter than they are. You need one colour to blur where legs and body end and make the eye travel up and down without meeting and horizontal lines.

Love those boots custardo

Oh god I'm still no closer to deciding what to wear

Part of me wants to take the whole outfit back and get something new due to the shoe/colour issue, but I have exhausted most, if not all shops in the city centre. I don't want to chance buying something online and it not fitting and all of the faff that comes with that!

Okay, so bearing in mind I would like flat shoes, and no legs or upper arms showing - give me a description of what you'd put me in? Please help ....

Maybe this with leggings underneath and miliatry boots or plain flats?

There are a few nice dresses on there and lots of the alsaints stuff sort of flows and moves and is cut differently so it blur your outline and in many instances makes you look thinner. Try one that if fitted to the part of you you like best but where there is movement around the bits you don't like.

Wear the skirt & top you are thinking of with tights & flats.

I had on a short dress, opaques & biker boots yesterday & daughter told me I looked old fashioned
