If milliners make hats, who make gloves?

Question from DD1. Is there a word for glove makers?

Glovers.
Milliners make fancy women's hats, mens hats were made by hatters.

a glover apparently, thought it may have been a leathersmith due to the gloves being made in leather years ago.

They used to use mercury in the processing of materials to make hats - so slowly got mercury poisoning and went a bit mad

Apparently Nickchick it was the mercury? used in hat making that sent the hatters mad.

Used to make hats, and my Mum is a milliner. We have in our time worked with some right loons tho
