Votes please

this is my first fatface purchase. I love the fabric. The fit is ok but not fantastic, but then I always struggle to find dresses that fit. I'm 5.5 size 16 top and size 12 bottom.

The skirt is a bit different to how it looks in the picture - extra panels at the sides makes it longer at each side than the front/back

Whatcha think? Nicely versatile or just really dull.

I'd go for "verstatile". You can dress it up with bright opaques and nice boots/shoes.

AnyFucker · 19/03/2010 09:38

I like that

I like "sludgy" colours though, I live in 'em

the neckline would be good for you, I think although I am not used to dressing norks as I don't have any

greedygoose · 19/03/2010 09:39

boring but probably useful!

muddleduck · 19/03/2010 09:45

Thanks.
so what do I wear with it while it is still a bit chilly. My cardis all look daft with it. Perhaps better to go with long sleeves underneath? Or do I need to get a decent cardi?

Oh and while I'm here - where is good to buy opaques? I prefer holdups to tights...

I wouldn't put anything underneath it

a stripey long cardi would be ok

paddingtonbear1 · 19/03/2010 09:55

I like it, I tried it on the other week - alas it didn't hang right on me. I'd probably wear it with a longer length cardi and leggings.

muddleduck · 19/03/2010 10:06

ok, so now I need help finding a longer length cardi

muddleduck · 19/03/2010 10:24

I know, I just really struggle with cardis - I always think I look like a librarian

don't be daft

just go to a shop usually known for being quite stylish to get ya boyfriend cardi...you can't go wrong

Oasis, Zara, River island (I know, I know, but I buy a lot of knitwear from there...it's just a bit funkier than your usual BHS long cardi )

you need a non-plain one..stripy, I would suggest
