justallovertheplace · 18/03/2010 18:19

I would frankly rather wear a shell suit. Though I suspect they will be next...

isthatporridgeinyourhair · 18/03/2010 18:19

that's what I mean! Absolutely blardy minging.

BariatricObama · 18/03/2010 18:23

Both awful.. Along with harem pants and jumpsuits, which I can't believe are still 'fashionable'.

BariatricObama · 18/03/2010 18:29

we are just getting old. i should just go to a department store and buy a life times supply of beige synthetic slacks and blouses

Maggie00 · 18/03/2010 18:31

and you'd still look better than if you wore 'double denim'. never heard it called that before. I think it was called snow wash 'in my day'.

petisa · 18/03/2010 23:04

nooooooooooo

mrslurkalot · 18/03/2010 23:10

O no, it's all way too Status Quo! How does a woman of a certain age (39!) carry that off!

FiveOrangePips · 19/03/2010 12:14

I have never seen anyone in rl wearing harem pants - they are wrong in an emperor's new clothes kind of way, but surely only fashion slaves wear them?

Double denim is easy to avoid/ leave to the fashion victims to wear for our amusement?

I think I could do some token pastel wearing.... maybe.

Blergh. I have resisted - its all a bit too Think we're alone nowfor my liking. However I do have a gorgeous fitted denim jacket somewhere which I can dig out and wear - with new Gap chinos

Nightshoe · 19/03/2010 13:00

Eurgh. I'm must be very fashion forward. I was working that Alexa Chung double denim look whilst at primary school. And there it shall belong.

diddl · 19/03/2010 13:24

I also did this years ago.

I think my best look all those years ago was jeans & cheesecloth shirt.

I love pastels & will spend hours looking lovingly at them.
Never buy though-wrong skin colour!
