...on my wedding day. I'm going for a half-up-half-down-thrown-together kind of do, and need something with pearls to wear in my hair, possible some kind of headband, or something to sit in the back. NOT A TIARA! I've already bought two things online, but they're not right, any help much appreciated, it's driving me mad!!

redshoesnoknickers · 18/03/2010 17:35

there are stacks on here have a browse...

MrsAlwaysRight · 18/03/2010 17:48

I've used the website redshoesnoknickers linked to. Ordered a few and then sent back the ones I didn't like. Their products seem quite reasonably priced and I researched and ordered loads from different websites in my quest for the perfect vintage look wedding hair accessory!

BattyKoda · 18/03/2010 18:02

Thanks redshoes for the link, and mrsalwaysright for the insight! will have a proper look tonight

DebiNewberry · 19/03/2010 16:55

Have a look on Etsy, you can find somebody making things you like and then get a custom order done.

BattyKoda · 19/03/2010 20:04

Am so happy.

PlumSykes · 19/03/2010 20:31

I had a vintagey looking comb with lots of teeny pearls in a flower design. Was from Butler and Wilson, and similar in style to this Think it was about £50- you could give them a call an dtell them what you are looking for.

PlumSykes · 19/03/2010 20:34

Some pretty vintage pieces here

BattyKoda · 19/03/2010 20:38

I had something made for me - well a tiara but I'm sure she would make what ever you wanted if she could, the prices are very reasonable

BattyKoda · 19/03/2010 20:55

Thank you CarGirl - have saved link! Do oyu think she could do what I linked to above for a tenth of the price?
