The perfect outfit needed

I am heading home to visit the family after 2 years. I have dropped 4 dress sizes since I last saw them so I need to find something fab yet comfy for the flight - all 24 hours of it.
Any suggestions? I need to perfect outfit as an ex is picking me up from the airport.
I was thinking long sweater dress thing but it's now the wrong season. I am a size 18 and my fat is quite evenly distributed so am hourglass these days.
Thanks

Yikes. 24 hour flight. Would want to travel in my pjs

Hm, will have to think. What's your budget?

Have you looked at the thread about Isabella Oliver 365? There is some lovely stuff there that looks very comfy but also very stylish have a look here

Are you travelling alone or with kids? I would say not a short/knee-length thing as then you either need tights or you end up thinking about your legs (well maybe not if you wax them or something but I shave so would look a bit stubbly by halfway over the ocean ). Maybe leggings and nice fitted tunics

I think you want to have something that emphasises your figure a bit but that might not be super comfy so maybe something in jersey (bit clingy but if you're happy with that...). Maybe fitted top/dress/tunic, then layered with longish cardi for the flight as I'm always needing to adjust my temperature when flying.

I think a jersey wrap dress in grey/navy/brown, with coordinated tights and boots, with a fine knit cardigan. maybe have big beads/bracelet.

you could even have this in your carry on luggage (wear the cardigan and boots to check in to save space) and wear a tracksuit to fly, then change just before you land. I agree that have a good blow dry/wax etc before you leave is a great plan.

Well done on your weight loss!

Well thank you ladies. I ended up finding this today. I have my fat travelling clothes for the actual flight. Am booked in for waxing and cutting and colouring the day before and I will have a shower in Singapore.
