Bra ignorance

Went to buy underwear today after realising that I just cannot still be a 36C. And found out I am a 36 DD. Howzat!

Do breasts grow with age or is this due to fatness?

Sorry to say it's possibly fat.

Not knowing you I cannot possibly comment but I do know that most women always buy the wrong size bra. If you can, pop into a good bra store, like Pelham and Rigby ? and they will measure you. I think most women find that they should be increasing their cup size.

I thought I was a 38E, went to get measured in a small lingerie shop, specialists in bra fittings and I was a 34GG.

I would recommend you get measured by Bravissimo/Rigby & Pellar or a small specialist lingerie shop where they really know their trade in measuring. As Jo says most women wear the wrong size, with the back measurement being too big and cup size too small.

I agree- I was wearing a 34A for years then progressed to a 34B, and now find a 32C fits better. One fitter took one look at me and said I could not possbly be a 34 back- as I am size 8-10- and she was right.
