Thiking of this tunic with lime green accessories, but my legs need trousers...

What type of trousers would be best, people?

This is for a wedding, by the way.

would these linen ones look okay?

Help!

God that would look great over skinny highrise jeans. But for a wedding, wide leg palazzo.
What's the problem with your legs? Could a low-heeled boot not sort it?

Sadlou81 · 13/03/2010 16:05

that is a dress surely?

YouCantTeuchThis · 13/03/2010 16:08

Fully intend to wear it again, so the skinny jeans could work!

So, do you think those Next linen ones would work?

See, they are calling it 'tunic' but, regardless, it is the length of dress that I would need something under!

It should be leggings or jeggings but not to a wedding. Some sort of thick tights with boots?

Sadlou81 · 13/03/2010 16:17

i think it will look like oyu have too many cothes on

YouCantTeuchThis · 13/03/2010 16:20

okay - will try it on when it arrives and see...

What kind of boots?

How about white/offwhite Audrey Hepburn style cigarette pants or capri pants?

Can't find a link just now but will hunt, think that might work for a wedding?

I personally think wide leg trousers might look odd with that dress/tunic

NorkilyChallenged · 14/03/2010 09:37

Like these?

I know it's white to a wedding but probably okay? (I know nothing of etiquette)

NorkilyChallenged · 14/03/2010 09:40

Look on Yoox, all the big designers are doing 3/4 length white trousers!

Pretty sure the Wallis ones are more on budget though

YouCantTeuchThis · 14/03/2010 16:08

I had wondered about 'short-longers'...

I like the christian dior wallis ones, although my shoes/accessories are (currently) green

What about the navy linen ones? Am I starting to go mad???

I agree about looking overdressed (as in too many clothes) with the wide-legs...

I am trying to picture the navy tunic, navy capris and green high heels!!

Am starting to think I may look like a Simpsons character...

If only I could get to the damned shops and try a hundred things on!!!

Argghhh, fecking links!!!

OP posts:
NorkilyChallenged · 14/03/2010 16:21

navy trousers might be hard to colour match but you could try.

like the shoes

YouCantTeuchThis · 14/03/2010 16:28

All this because of a fab navy/lime fascinator!!

think I will order the navy capri pants too, just in case they don't have them in store.

Thanks for the idea!
