Leggings Recommendation

Just wanted to share details of some great leggings from Boden and Gap Just in case any of you are on the hunt for new spring/summer pairs

I bought the Boden ones in dark brown. Not quite as long as I wanted (prefer a little ruching around the ankle) but still a flattering length - finish just on the ankle bone. Cost £16 (with discount).

The ones from Gap are a soft grey - solid not marl. A slightly better length than the Boden ones. Cost £12.50. They seemed quite small so I sized up to a medium (would usually be a small/size 8 in Gap).

Both are beautifully soft, thick fabric and high waisted.

I think I might be all over the legging. But now will strugggle to find equally forgiving replacement

I was feeling the same, Cyb. But I hate feeling cold on cooler spring days so really wanted something to layer with lighter layers. I really like the colours of these ones - I always a bit like I've got lost on the way to dance class when I wear black beneath brighter colours

ooho very tempted by the sound of Gap ones, was just in town but didn't pop in there. Definitely need something comfy as am ==rapidly-- expanding a bit bloated and nothing seems to fit any more.

according to the times today, pale grey marl ones 3/4 length worn under a trench are de rigeur

STARBEAR tell me tell me tell me about he Uniqlo ones, I just ad some skinnies from there which are very nice, but jeans are a rubbish fit on my waist, so they are going back. They have yours in colours too, no?

What's the leg length and sizes like? Do they bag at all at the waist like real jeans can?

PoppityMoppityandCottontail · 10/03/2010 22:10

(sorry for hijack), might try those Gap leggings, they sound good

Starbear · 10/03/2010 22:37

Poppity I'm 5'7 size 14 My inside leg is 32 inches and they stop around bottom of my ankles. If you pull the drawstring tight they are very good around the waist. The jeggings don't bag at the waist I do Normal jeans not good for me (even when I was size 10) big gap at the back!

PoppityMoppityandCottontail · 11/03/2010 10:10

oooh! sounds good starbear, do they look ok a as ankle skimmers?

GeorginaWorsley · 11/03/2010 11:45

Lile the sound of those Tulpe
I have some navy Marks ones that are great, lovely and soft, high waisted and long.

Starbear · 11/03/2010 16:24

Poppity I have never worn leggings or jeggings without knee high boots. I think it makes me look odd so cannot answer that question.
