Thread Veins on Legs...any one had them removed ?

I've got horrible thread veins on one of my thighs which looks like some drawn on me with navy biro. DH is going to treat me to have them removed & I'm not sure whether we can find a clinic to do it or whether I should go to the drs & ask to be refered ? I know I'll have to pay for it, I just don't want a botched job.

Has anyone one had theirs treated, are you pleased ? how did you find the person to do it ?

thanks - unfortunately not near me. I looked at the website though & they seem more of a nurse led, rather than Dr led ?

It depends on how bad your veins are- many beauty salons do thread vein removal- the other option is to see your G P and be referred to a vascular surgeon.

At SK:N they have both drs and nurses- some treatments are by nurses, other by drs.
any cosmetic/plastic surgeon will do your legs- have you googled in your area?

It's a very simple treatment but there are different options- laser and injection.
