DD1 likes it, I'm not 100% sure plus would normally not spend so much on a child's coat!
coat here

Just showed dd (6) it and she liked it. We're going to go to BHS today and have a try.

compo · 07/03/2010 10:36

Love it but yes it is a bit expensive especially with the long hot summer hopefully coming soon

TrinityIsFuckingTrying · 07/03/2010 10:39

its gorgeous and 16 punds isn;t that bad

ish maybe

it is lovely

Tortoise · 07/03/2010 10:40

Lol at long hot summer! I want a spring coat for her. Something to keep her warm on cool mornings but not too hot if it is warmer later in the day! ie not her winter coat!

It's £18 for her size though TR. Somehow £16 doesn't seem too much but £18 does!

rainbowinthesky Did you see the coat? Is it nice in RL?
I have until tonight to make a decision because the 20% off offer ends tonight.

I think it is nice and not expensive, but that us all relative.

I would check it is nice in RL as BHS can be a bit hit and miss. Although you can always take it back.

EVye · 07/03/2010 18:00

I like it. If you get the right size it will fit her for Spring AND Autumn, and maybe even the Spring after depending on how big you get and how quick she grows.

And that would be £6 per season

GoddessInTheKitchen · 07/03/2010 18:06

i really like it, dd has a similar one but with white spots, love it, but i know what you mean about £18 seeming so much more!

seeker · 07/03/2010 18:13

Doesn't look very comfortable for running and playing and swinging in - it looks like a "best" coat to me and you'll have to get another one for the park.

LauraIngallsWilder · 07/03/2010 18:15

There is a lovely water resistant coat in Tescos atm - purple with floral lining - reduced to £6

belgo · 07/03/2010 18:16

It's pretty but agree it's not very practical - I would never buy a coat without a hood.

Tortoise · 07/03/2010 18:31

Belgo. It does have a hood .

DD1 is very girlie so she will happily play in dresses etc so doubt it will stop her. One coat would have to do her unless one came up in a charity shop.

It's lovely but it wouldn't suit our life style! I think that if that was all you needed to wear then mine wouldn't have worn a coat at all, just a fleece or something.

KittyWalker · 07/03/2010 18:43

Just showed DD (7) and she said "oooh yes I really like that" I like it too!

Tortoise · 07/03/2010 18:58

Just realised discount is added at checkout so i could save £3.60 but then delivery is £3.95!

Hulababy · 07/03/2010 19:22

I like it.

Tortoise · 07/03/2010 20:41

Decided to go for it. Can return for free if it's not right.
