Men's swimming trunks / shorts

monkeysmama · 05/03/2010 18:00

I need to purchase my man some swimming trunks. He has asked for swimming "shorts" and is rather, um, large atm so nothing too tight.

He is a bit of a luxury lover so will want something a more nicer than Nike but isn't a fan of logo clothing.

I need to get them on line.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Hi there

Have you looked on figleaves.com or ASOS? They both have a big range and loads of different styles. I've actually just bought my DH these from ASOS. A bargain at £22 and actually lovely detailing when you see them for real.

Hi again MM, just re-read your post and realise my DH's pair probably won't be your DH's cup of tea ... but still worth a look at ASOS and Figleaves as lots of plainer, more designery pairs!

My-wardrobe also have men's swimwear - designer budget though!

monkeysmama · 05/03/2010 20:31

He has a pair of Vilebrequin turquoise trunks he bought on a corporate week away in Dubai . Foul.

I laugh when you go to a posh hotel abroad and all the dads are wearing Vilebrequin!

Whereas my dh will have on his 10 year old M&S ones!

Nice selection here - what about the RL ones?

monkeysmama · 08/03/2010 09:17

Thanks Tracey, I've ordered some of the Orlebar brown ones. Think they might be a bit short for him but I like them so we'll see.
