Find me a new smell!

I am after a new perfume, but am overwhelmed by all the different ones!

Stuff I like:
Flowerbomb
Narciso Rodriguez

I don't want anything too popular - I want something that I won't smell on everyone...

Anyone got any secrets they want to share?

I found a great one on the weekend in SpaceNK - Acqua Di Parma. I think it was in a pink/purple bottle.

There was also a nice Pucci one there.

I couldn't decide which to get so am going back another time.

There was a great range of unusual perfumes there.

I love Narciso Rodriguez too.

Have you tried Jeanne from Lanvin? It's a pretty, light floral fragrance.

If you like rose florals then you might like Parisienne by YSL. I got a bottle for my birthday and really like it.

Well, I have no idea what NR smells like but "nowsmellthis" describes it as slightly irisy and floral.

As MimsyStarr says, SpaceNK have a range of less usual perfumes. One of them is "Iris" by A de P. It's lovely.

For florals, you could try the "Private Collection" range by Estee Lauder. I suspect they might be a little too linear and floral for you, though. I think you like a bit more oomph than I'm entirely comfortable with.

I like the Antonia's flowers perfumes in Space NK, too.

The original Lolita Lempicka (comes in a purple apple-shaped bottle in a lime green square box) is lovely and very unusual. I don't know anyone else who wears it but I get comments on it every time I put it on. I really like the two scents you have named so guess our tastes might be similar enough for you to like this one.

DKNY do a lovely fragrance called 'Be Delicious'. Comes in lime green packaging and it's fantastically fresh and appley and melony and always makes me want to pour it into a vodka cocktail and drink it! Really light and perfect for Spring!

The Penhaligon's perfumes are lovely. I wear Ellenisia.

You could try Annick Goutal. I loved Grand Amour but then couldn't stand it anymore when I got pregnant...

Philosophy Amazing Grace for a subtle floral, Falling in Love for a sweeter floral, or Pure Grace for a fresh floral.

All gorgeous and the Amazing Grace often gets asked after when I wear it.

Pure Grace is gorgeous - my favourite.

I have a Stella McCartney one at the moment but I wouldn't recommend it.

Emsyj - I had forgotten about lolita lempicka! I may give that a sniff.

Thanks for the suggestions folks, I am off out to smell stuff, so will definitely be going to SpaceNK... will also look out for the Lanvin one...
