A good primer?

Hi ladies. I am in desperate need of a good primer/concealer. I have terrible dry skin so obviously moisturise every day but it leaves me with bad redness around my mouth and nose . Also, a good foundation wouldn't go a miss, I currently use Maybelline dream matte mousse but sometimes get dry flakey skin showing through. Urgh why was I cursed with this skin??!!
...anyways... any suggestions? Thanks!

Loreal Studio Secrets primer. Oh so good. And affordable.

just bought Laura Mercier and its really nice, very moisturising. Expensive but looks it last for ages.

I use Smashbox primer, it really helps foundation go on smoothly. I have very dry skin too and find the preparation ie exfoliating and moisturising is key to how good (non flaky!) the final result is.
