wow! the blue jersey on i actually met someone weaing (she was a short 12 i would say, and it wasn't flattering, though on the otherhand, it looked kind of cool on that particular woman...made her look like an old lady shape, you know, with large flat norks and skinny legs...though probably could have looked much nicer in something else.)

I quite like them - used to have a couple of slim-fitting black jumpsuits in the 80s - but having said that I bought a blue one from ASOS last summer and it made me look as though I'd come to mend the boiler. You have to choose carefully (and I would never contemplate playsuits - bad legs).

I love that last purple shift dress, last link, last picture, but not so sure re the pant suits, particularly the PJ pantsuit EAP

I have three of these, all short ones though. I shall build up through them starting with the one you would probably find least offensive:

1. Plain black linen, not that different to a shirt dress really, but harder to pee. Wear with bare legs, tan waist belt and tan wedges.

1. Black and white fan print a bit like this but cinched in at the waist. I wear with with black tights and ankle boots or flat black knee boots. In summer I'll wear it with flat sandals.

1. A one-shoulder, leopard-print number, almost a brocade fabric. Worn with black tights and high black sandals plus big black waist belt. Wore it out last Saturday night. I love it!

I find them flattering as long as you belt them. They skim over a tum, make you look like an hourglass figure and are very slimming on the legs. Sorry

I should probably confess I do also have a pair of harem trousers. And over the knee boots. And I roll my ripped jeans up and wear them with ankle boots. So I am not afraid to look crazy follow trends.

I tried to buy a playsuit in Zara this week, but the zip was broken. Did wonder if was a bit muttinous for me ie am I too old to play? Scoffed at the very idea and am going to try again. I really like them, but only classic evening jumpsuit or cute day playsuit. And def not in navy gaberdine or other boiler man fabrics. Even J Lo couldn't pull that look off.

Am 35, Fleecy so think should be looking at classic rather than cute. Nothing cute about an old lady in pig tails (exaggerated situation but am sure you know what I mean).

Like Fleecy (hey) I am a fan. I also must admit to having several pairs of harem trousers and over the knee boots.

There is something forgiving about jumpsuits imo. Like a dress it is only one item of clothing to decide on and the right ones really skim the body.

My favourite is a black strapless one in a jersey material with ruching on the chest and loose trousers. I have two of the same one - one I get dry cleaned to wear with sparkly sandals in the evening on holiday, the other I wear whenever on summer days in the sun. I don't get tan lines, looks good and a bit trendy and is easy for pulling down to bf, run around, dive etc.

op - i have one the same as the blue one in a sort of grape colour. i wore it when i was pregnant although not heavily.
