Where to buy well fitted shoes for dd aged 2 1/2 but not clarks?

I have always bought dd's shoes in clarks as they have a proper fitting, but tre is very little choic and the shoes are pretty untrendy.

Has anyone got any ideas where else I could go? And I really want some where that measures and fits the shoes properly.

Try independent shoe shops which will sell the properly fitted german brands (can't remember the names), or start-rites. Russel and Bromley have good ranges, but tend to be lousy at fitting.

We sometimes go to John Lewis as they have Start-rite and other brands. Also Jones the Bootmaker do measure and fit although probably not as thorough. Also do you have any independent childrens shoe shop, we have a couple and both measure and fit the shoes and have much more choice than Clarks.
