OK to take 6 month DS into hairdressers?

I desparately need a haircut but my stylist - the one I trust! - is fully booked out for the next few saturdays (when I could leave DS with his dad). The salon is small and really friendly but I'm worried about the chemicals and whether he could be harmed by them? Or am I just being overprotective?! TIA

He'll be fine, as long as you don't let them colour his hair or give him a perm

lol. thanks that was what I needed to hear!! He was fine, they loved him and I got much need haircut! feel great.
