Tights/holdups

I have cause to wear my suit which is a grey pinestripe skirt suit - skirt just below the knee.

Since giving up the evil sunbed my legs and whiter than that whitest thing you can think of, shades required to view infact.

So I bought some 40 denier black tights and they just look wrong with it. Barely black just seems to highlight the luminous glow from beneath and I am wary of the american tan look so can someone please suggest an shade acceptable for an interview situation?

Many thanks

I would either go for ultra sheer (10 denier) in either black or natural tan. I know you fear the natural tan look but there are some excellent shades out there now which truly appear "barely there". Boots own brand sheer hold ups used to be particularly good.

40 denier, imo, is a rather "meh". Tis neither opaque nor sheer and looks a bit naff.

Ok thanks for that Tulpe, will face my fears and try some natural shades, perhaps I need to embrace my whiteness.

The 40s did look naff and I don't want to be feeling naff at an interview.

Apologies for the typos.

Tulpe thanks for your advice, I bought some naturals and felt fabulous at the interview.

Cheers x

That's brilliant Glad to be of service.

How did the interview go?

It went well, at least I think I am perfect for the job!

Only problem is that the hours are a bizarre shift pattern and I have no idea if I can get childcare to suit.

Will have to explore the avenues but it might just be that its not the one for me.

I was upfront and explained the childcare issue - they are going to discuss it and come back to me...
