Im sick of wearing tons of heavy makeup. Have stopped with sunbeds and am naturally really pale skinned.. Just wondering what make up everyone uses and swears by..

Ideally would like to look natural but gorgeous and fresh faced well maybe not gorgeous but better than the drag queen look Im sporting at the moment...

Quite like Benefit makeup..

Hi

MAC is excellent and has really good durability, especially the eye shadows and the colour range is incredible. Laura Mercier is also really lovely. Lots of people really like Bobby Brown. Both Bobby Brown and Laura Mercier do make overs, as do MAC.

You could do worse than to just visit a few make up counters you like the look of and arrange a make over or several. Do a few and see what you like. Someone here could probably confirm this, but I think Bobby Brown do actual make up lessons...

If you want to look gorgeous and fresh faced, exfoliate, get a good moisturiser, and a primer such as Clarins Instant Light, but there are loads about. Primers are good for giving the skin a glow and might cut down your need for foundation. Also, a delicate shade of blusher also works wonders!

Yup, blusher blusher blusher - it's the only way to look healthy IMO. I like Origins pinch your cheeks (although it's annoying that it stains fingers - grrr) and also benetint, although I do find pinch your cheeks is easier to blend.

Years ago I used to have a jar of apricot coloured tinted moisturiser. They don't make it any more (can't remember the brand, possibly agnes b?) but an apricot coloured skin brightener works wonders and 'lifts' your skin without the need for sunbeds etc.

Benefit do a little kit called 'big beautiful eyes' that's quite good too, although doesn't last all day in my experience.

Would second the MAC recommendation.
